1. The Word of God — I believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the superintendence of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all maters of faith and conduct.
2. The Trinity — I believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existent in three persons, that these three are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption.
3. God the Father — I believe in God, the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. I believe that He concerns Himself mercifully with the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
4. Jesus Christ — I believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit. I believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous ministry, and in His teachings. I believe His atoning death was in substitution for guilty sinners. I believe in His bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to the earth.
5. The Holy Spirit — I believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.
6. Regeneration — I believe that that salvation is by God’s grace through faith in Christ alone. Regeneration is an instantaneous act of the Holy Spirit that infuses spiritual life in the lost person dead in trespasses and sin.
7. The Church — I believe in the universal church of which Christ is the head and all regenerate persons are members. I believe in the local church consisting of an organized company of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized on a credible confession of faith, and regularly meeting for worship, outreach, and fellowship.
8. Christian Conduct — I believe that a Christian should live for the glory of God, loving the Lord with all one’s soul, strength, and mind. That one should love his neighbor as himself; that his conduct should be blameless both before the world and in private; that he should be a faithful steward of his possessions; and seek to a mature stature in Christ for himself and others.
9. The Ordinances — I believe that the Lord Jesus has committed two ordinances to the local church: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. I believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the triune God as a picture of the believer's union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection that actually took place at the moment of salvation. I believe that the Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of Christ’s death of substitution for fallen sinners and the ratification of the New Covenant.
10. Religious Liberty — I believe that every human being has direct relations with God, and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith; that each church is independent and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political entity; that the Church and State must be kept separate as having different functions; each fulfilling its distinctive role without the patronage of the other.
11. Church Cooperation — I believe that local churches can best promote the cause of Jesus Christ by cooperating with one another in organized associations. Such associations must function by the will of the churches on a voluntary basis.
12. The Last Things — I believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth and to establish His kingdom. I believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal blessedness of the righteous and the endless suffering of the wicked.
