Research Project—The topic of my Doctoral Research project was small groups. More precisely it focused on developing and implementing a small group ministry that reflected the five-fold mission statement of the church.
Facilitator Training—Developed and taught a Facilitator Workshop to train local church members in facilitating and in leading a discussion group. Incorporated the workshop into the Introduction to Christian Education class at Michigan Theological Seminary (now called Moody Theological Seminary). The class required a "Lab" for hands-on learning. The Lab experience required each student to facilitate a small group discussion with the members of the class. That was followed by an analysis of the small group discussion to evaluate the effectiveness as an educational process.
Leadership Training--Developed and taught Leadership Training for the Small Church. This is a six-part training course to equip new and novice believers in becoming mature leaders to serve in the church.
Part 1: Definition of the church and it's Leadership
Part 2: Qualifications of a Church Leader
Part 3: Biblical Leadership Qualities
Part 4: Church Leadership Qualities
Part 5: People Leadership Qualities
